Conquering Fear of the Unknown in Immigration Law

Hear from Ram and Tara Aryal on their experience working with the ImLaw Team:

“I needed some professional immigration help to change my status from a religious worker to a student. I didn't know what to do and was very anxious when my previous employer stated that they were ready to send a letter of notification to the USCIS that my job had ended.

An attorney from another field had referred me to Susan. As soon as I called Susan’s office, her team scheduled a consultation appointment. They confirmed that ImLaw could help with my situation. I hired Susan and her team and submitted the signed agreement. She created a game plan and got the ball rolling for my application. Within five months, she helped regain my F-1 student and my wife's F-2 student dependent status.

After about two years, we needed help again to adjust our status to green card status. We asked Susan if she could help us. Because we were her previous client, Susan gave us an affordable fee that fit within our budget. She gave us an estimated timeline of completion, and we hired the ImLaw team again. Our application process started right away, and we successfully received our new status.

Often when we visited the ImLaw office, we had lots of questions. We were anxious about what was going to happen next, and we feared the unknown. Susan took time to answer our questions and encourage us. She assured us that she would do everything possible to help us get our immigration matters resolved.

The biggest challenge for us was when the USCIS sent Requests for Evidence (RFEs). In both sets of application processes, we had to submit numerous pages of paperwork to overcome the RFEs. Susan asked for everything she needed from us. All we had to do was drop the papers at her office. She took care of the rest from there.

Susan was always ready and available for us, whether we needed to talk to her on the phone, meet her by zoom, visit in person, or contact her through emails. She made sure she arranged a meeting time and answered our questions. She gave her best so that we didn’t need to dwell in the uncertainty and the unknowns.

She constantly updated us with email news alerts on the latest immigration changes. She sent all the updated forms and asked for all the paperwork to be filled out well in advance. Before she mailed the document, she reviewed it repeatedly and made sure that everything was perfectly presented.

We never felt we had an attorney-client relationship, but rather a family member or a close friend relationship. Susan smiles often, she is courteous, and she always welcomes us.

Other team members in the ImLaw team were equally helpful. We would have never made it without Susan and her team putting their expertise to use to achieve our immigration goals.

We wholeheartedly recommend ImLaw. You don't have to live in fear of the unknown.”
