The policy below applies to and all other sites on the internet operated by ImLaw, PC.

ImLaw, PC does not collect personal identifying information except in the following circumstances:

  • To the extent that your web browser provides information such as your email address or the site you linked from to our web server; or
  • To the extent that you provide information to us in an email message.

ImLaw, PC will use your information only for the specific purpose for which you submitted the information in question with the exception that ImLaw, PC may use information it obtains from its website for the purposes of determining the popularity or usefulness of its web pages and/or links to and from our website, providing important updates to the website, and emailing firm newsletters and other advisories. Individuals who do not wish to receive updates, newsletters or advisories by email or who may be receiving them in error may contact ImLaw, PC and request removal from the mailing list.

Client File Retention Policy

For clients of ImLaw, client materials will be returned to you, or you will have an opportunity to retrieve your original client materials, immediately upon the conclusion of the representation. If you do not pick up your original client materials within 12 months of receiving the notice that they are available, they may be destroyed without further notice to you.  If a notification is sent to you, it will be in the form of a mailed notice to the last known address we have on file for you and an email to your last known email address we have on file for you.

If you owe fees or costs to ImLaw, ImLaw may refuse to turn over your file until fully paid and is entitled to do so provided certain legal and ethical requirements are met.

ImLaw has the right to maintain closed client files electronically (exclusively electronically), shredding the hard copies of documents in client files at the time a client’s case is closed and any time after the file has been successfully scanned and electronically stored with appropriate backup system in place which covers the client’s electronically stored file.
